The biggest shock was the change to the controls...You NEVER, EVER use the analogue stick instead of the joypad (PS2) for Tomb Raider! Because I wasn't used to it, and couldn't seem to get the hang of the controls, I put this game away in a big huff and went on to slam it on every Tomb Raider review site I could.

However, my sister persuaded me to persever, and am I glad she did! She was right, I DID get used to the controls, and I found to my delight that I began to enjoy the game. The puzzles were challenging, the graphics were good, and the gameplay, though different, was nowhere near as bad as I'd reviewed!

So sorry AOD...I now eat humble pie and admit it's a good game. So if, like me, you didn't like this and refused to play it, or took notice of the terrible reviews from people like me, then get out the game, persevere until you can handle the controls, and play, play, play! It's a good game!

The one thing I absolutely did not like was the fact that Lara was times when she was shimmying or climbing across a ceiling by hanging down...it was frustrating and did mar my enjoyment a little, but overall, I did enjoy it.
