Introduction To Tomb Raider 2
Legend has it that when you drive the dagger of Xian into your heart, you acquire the power of the dragon. Literally. In Ancient China, the Emperor was the holder of this power and with his army alongside him, he was a force to be reckoned with. Thus he staked claim to the vast lands that are China. His final battle however ended in defeat. While people fell into submission all around him the Warrior monks of Tibet would not relent and courageously fought against him. Knowing the power of the dagger, they succeeded in removing it from the Dragon Emperor's heart —reducing him and his army carnage. The dagger was returned to its resting place within The Great Wall and locked up for all time... Now three parties hold the dagger close to their heart. And all for entirely different reasons. Lara, our intrepid adventurer, is one of these. On her travels she will encounter the other two...

Tomb Raider 2 Walkthrough
The beauty of this game is that you don't need to collect save crystals to save the game (PlayStation version). Just save it using the inventory, anywhere you like! Also, the secrets in this game are not goodies, they are dragons. Each level has three to collect...silver, jade and gold, but you do receive a stash of goodies if you find all three in each level.

Before you start playing, you may want to practice the training level around Lara's house as some of the controls are different. She also has a secret treasure room hidden in the cellar of the house. To get to it, you need to pull a lever in a tunnel in the maze, but the switch is heavily timed, so it's up to you whether or not you want to go for it!

Lara's Butler
Lara's butler has an annoying habit of following her around and getting in her way...to avoid this, go and wait in the kitchen cold room for him to follow you in there, then run out and lock him in by pushing the button next to the door!

Treasure Room
If you decide you want to visit the Treasure Room, open the front door to Lara's mansion and make your way to the maze. The far left corner from where you enter is where you'll find the tunnel entrance. Drop down and follow the passage to a room with a lever. Pick up the flares and pull the switch, then run like billy-o back to the house! Once through the front door, head for the right hand hallway and you'll see the secret door, which hopefully you can get through before it closes! (You can't miss this when you enter the house, so if you can' t see it, you're too late!) Once you make it inside, turn right at the end of the passage and light a flare to behold the wonders of Lara's Secret Treasure Room!

A Note About My Save Game Files
I'm added save game files for each level at the end of each walkthrough page. Each save is at the very end of the level, it's usually just a matter of walking forward to end the level and move onto the next one. Each file has all kills, pickups and secrets, but because I made them while doing this walkthrough, there will be a lot of save points and they will not have full medipacks or ammo, although I will try to save as much as possible. You should only use other people's save game files as a last resort. I end up with very few medipacks as I make my way through the game, so think about this before you use the files, or at least back up your own saves, first, so you can restore them if you need to. :)

For some reason, the stats at the end of certain levels show fewer or more kills than they should. Whether or not this is because I've missed some, or because the PC game is glitching, I have no idea. Just please remember that before you download any file, and do make a backup of all of your own saves before you use mine!

Once you've familiarized yourself with the controls, you're ready to start a new game......
